Your Daily Routine for Body Eczema

How to Use Barrier Repair Body Cream - The green one. Your everyday eczema management essential.

If you live with eczema, you've probably heard this a hundred times: moisturise consistently. And it's true. But how you moisturise matters just as much as that you do it. There's a big difference between slapping something on once a day and building a proper routine that actually works. That's where the Barrier Repair Body Cream comes in.

You'll recognise it by the green packaging. It's built to be your everyday body moisturiser. Apply it broadly and apply it often.

    What does it actually do?

Barrier Repair Body Cream is powered by the ANESININ® botanical formula. This is Anitch's own ingredient blend, developed by a HKU microbiology research team in collaboration with the Eczema Association of Australasia. With daily use, it works toward three things:

    Short term

    Relieve itching and reduce inflammation

    Long term

Stabilise skin and repair the skin barrier

    Over time

Help reduce the frequency of flare-ups

One important thing to know before we go further: Anitch products are skincare, not medicine. There are no steroids, no pharmaceutical drugs. The results build gradually through sustained, consistent use. This is not a one-and-done product. It's a routine.

    How to use it

    1

Apply Barrier Repair Body Cream across your body. Arms, legs, torso, anywhere that tends to be dry or prone to eczema. It can be used all over, so don't hold back. More is genuinely fine here.

    2

Use it at least three times a day. Morning, afternoon, and before bed. Think of it as your skincare anchor. The more regularly you apply it, the better the results build over time.

    3

For areas that are cracked, badly dry, or actively flaring, follow up with Barrier Rescue Balm (the orange one) on top of the Body Cream. That's the intensive treatment step, and we'll cover it in a separate post.

💡 Good to know: There's no cap on how much to use. Barrier Repair Body Cream is a skincare product, so apply it as generously as you need. Consistent, broad coverage is exactly how it's supposed to work.

    Who is it for?

Barrier Repair Body Cream works for all ages including the elderly, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers. If you're currently using topical steroids or antibiotics, you can still use this alongside them. Just apply the medication first, wait a moment, and then follow with the Body Cream.

People with G6PD (Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase Deficiency) can also use this product safely. It contains no G6PD-triggering ingredients.

    A note on patch testing

Anitch products go through rigorous skin sensitivity testing, but everyone's skin responds differently. If you're someone who tends to react to new products, start by applying a small amount to your inner elbow. Give it 30 minutes. No redness or irritation? You're good to go ahead with regular use.

The bottom line: Barrier Repair Body Cream is the foundation of your eczema care routine. Apply it broadly, apply it often, and give it time. Skin doesn't change overnight, but with consistent use, you're giving it the best shot at staying calm and healthy. For spots that need a little more help, that's what the Rescue Balm is for.
